Paradise Lost – Artist Bio and Upcoming Events

Artist Bio:
Formed in Halifax, West Yorkshire in 1988, Paradise Lost has established itself as a cornerstone of the gothic metal genre. With their debut album Gothic, the band carved a niche that has inspired countless acts in the metal underground. Over the years, Paradise Lost has transitioned seamlessly between genres, embracing elements of death/doom, alt-rock, and orchestral grandeur. Their seminal album Draconian Times in 1995 solidified their position in the metal mainstream, and subsequent works like One Second and Faith Divides Us – Death Unites Us showcase their artistic evolution. Returning to their roots with the acclaimed albums The Plague Within and Medusa, Paradise Lost continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Today, the band comprises founding members Nick Holmes (vocals) and Greg Mackintosh (guitar), along with new drummer Guido Zima Montanarini, who joined in March 2023.
