Welcome to another edition of Heavy Metal Real Estate, where we explore how rock stars live by way of their real estate listings.

Previously, we’ve seen the lavish homes of Maynard from Tool, the Hawaii penthouse belonging to Disturbed’s David Draiman. Houses from Metallica’s James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett’s gorgeous hill-top beach house, Rob Zombie’s swanky pad, Trent Reznor’s old Beverly Hills home, Dave Mustaine’s $5 million mansion, Danzig’s infamous Los Feliz bachelor pad, Sammy Hagar’s absurdly huge Hawaii mansion, Slash’s opulent Beverly Hills mansion, and Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris’ opulent pad.

Today we look at the way former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted lives. Realtor.com reports that former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted is selling his five bedroom, five bathroom home in Walnut Creek, California. The home was built in 1986, and covers 6,720 square feet on a 1.37-acre lot.

Here’s a swanky video tour of the property:

Newsted has another properly on the market, a Montana ranch which has been for sale since 2017, currently listed at $4.5 million.
