Best value in cymbals period.
I have been playing drums for almost 25 years. 20 of those years I have owned and played mainly high end zildjian and paiste cymbals. I set up my drums after moving and needed a quiet way to practice whenever I want so I got these because I have played the zildjian l80s in person and wasn’t impressed for how much they cost.For what these cost, they are an incredible value. The hats are acceptable, and could double for individual small crashes if you got another set. The ride and the crashes both sound fantastic. The ride has good definition, but also has a good amount of wash to it if driven hard. The crashes have great dimension and shimmer and sound like allow cymbals it’s crazy. They probably are a little louder than the big name low volume cymbals. But to have a complete set of cymbals for less than the cost of one of the name brand? It’s a no brainer. It’s for practice anyway and these are definitely quiet enough. You can bang on them without hearing protection no problem.I got the regular silver pack. They look great and sound great. Even if these weren’t meant for practice they sound great and could be used for recording or for triggered kits. Highly recommend.

I’ve played with a lot of cymbals. Some have cost me thousands of dollars, but I have to say that these Mute Quiet Symbols are some of the best I’ve ever used.First of all, they are incredibly quiet. I can play them in my home without disturbing my neighbors, which is a huge plus. But even though they are quiet, they still sound great. They have a nice, clear tone that is perfect for practice or recording.I’m also impressed with how well they play. They feel very responsive and natural under the sticks. I’ve actually found that I prefer them to some of my more expensive cymbals.Overall, I am extremely happy with the mosico Mute Quiet Symbols. Almost Perfect
Love these for practice. And probably could use them to gig or studio in certain situations such as small spaces or as FX cymbals. At least 50% reduction in volume. The crashes especially sound great. The ride is serviceable and is actually my favorite to crash/ride on. The hat kinda sucks except when open. I use my regular hat and achieve great sound and overall still a huge reduction in noise for my bandmates. Use for beginners practicing in the home, rehearsals, and potentially for live/studio use cases. If they could get the hat a little better, I would give it a perfect score. Btw, great price!

Excellent muted cymbals
I’ve been playing drums for 55+ years and have purchased many high end cymbals. When I received these cymbals I was shocked at how good they sound. They have a very clear sound The high hats have a quick decay with a clear chick sound on closing. The crashes sound great and the ride has a very clean sound but no real bell sound, other than that this is a great set. The volume of these cymbals are significantly reduced from that of a standard made cymbal.

Exactly what I was looking for
I set up an acoustic drum set for my son in the basement, and was way too loud for my wife. The sounds reverberated through the whole house. I was desperate to to damper not only the toms, kick and snare but the also the cymbals were killing us. I got a set of Eastrock Drum mute pads that included cymbal mutes. They were great for the toms and even the kick but the snare and cymbal dampeners left much to be desired. They were clanky and totally took the dynamics out of the cymbals. I saw these and was very skeptical for the price. I figured they would sound terrible and damage quickly. To my surprise they sounded great! I prefer them to our Zildjian ZBT set we have. Nice sizzle and dynamics at half the noise level. We also paired them with a set of Adoro Silent Sticks and we are very pleased. As far as the snare goes, my son just covers with a t shirt and it really helps the volume with sacrificing the feel. Still working on this and will update if I find a good solution. I’m hoping these cymbals will last! I paid about $136 for all three (pad, cymbals and silent sticks) and was money well spent. Get these cymbals, you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic mute cymbals for the price
We got this pack of cymbals to be used for a Rock and Metal band-themed summer camp for kids 6th-10th grade with the expectation that few of them would be responsible enough to actually wear earplugs. In order to test them beforehand, I brought them to my own band practice and let our heavy-handed drummer try them out to see if they were going to be durable enough. Not only are they able to take a beating from a real drummer, but we have actually come to prefer using mute cymbals for our own band practice! The tones are surprisingly bright for how thin they are, the anodization has held up well to stick strikes so far (~2 months of playing), and they sound fairly convincing as full cymbals on recording. Additionally, being quieter has helped prevent bleed-over to the other drum mics.I was so impressed by these inexpensive cymbals that I went and bought two more sets – one branded as Aisen (~$200) and another as Resanito ($~60). The Aisen have a heavier stamping and thicker coating so sound much darker, while the Resanito are bare steel and have a very dry crisp character; making these Arborea cymbals our favorites of this range.5/5 would purchase again!
