A full set of cymbals. Just the thing for a start up drum set. Nicely made and sized correctly. Good sound quality. Durable and thick brass make this set a good value.

Doesn’t even compare to real cymbals
The best use case I have for these is practice, and even then, it’s rough. The hi-hats are by far the worst sounding of the set; the tone is so dull you’d almost think they were plastic. The crashes and ride–which, really, is just a larger crash, it doesn’t behave like a ride at all–they’re not as bad as the hi-hats, but they’re still leagues away from even a Sabian B8. They’re very trashy, so maybe they could have some very limited use beyond just having something to hit when you don’t want to worry about cracking another cymbal. The set could maybe work for a lo-fi kind of thing, maybe. They could also be effective props if you need to have a drum set look like a drum set but not actually pay for decent cymbals if the sound doesn’t matter. The ride is okay for a large crash to bang away on in a practice context, but the bell has no definition, and the only reason this is two stars is for the fact that I can at least go through the motions of playing–though the lack of mass means the response is much different than my actual cymbals. You could get creative and get some kind of intentionally-trashy sounds out of these, but don’t confuse them with any kind of cymbals to use in even a mediocre drum sound.

Ive used alot of brands of cymbol different types china splash trash etc from tiger( very good) to zilgan(very good), Sound is ok the hihat sound abit thin but once they’re worn in they’ll sound better nice weight build quality is good to be honest, value for the money is good I will still use them for my 22pc kit they still have a good tone and sound to them again just the hiahts that sound thin, the finish is nice and shiny tho which I liked immediately, apart from the hihat I would put 5 stars, bar that they are still worth getting weather ur a beginner or advanced

Das Shaevle Trommelbecken in ET 14″/16″/18″/20″ ist deutlich leichter als die Zildjian-Version. Sie sind jedoch gut verarbeitet und recht gut ausbalanciert und erzeugen einen recht guten Ton, der für meinen Geschmack allerdings ein wenig gongartig ist. Durch ihr geringes Gewicht lassen sie sich bei einem Umzug leichter mitnehmen.Fazit: Im Großen und Ganzen sind diese mehr oder weniger leichten Trommelbecken ganz gut und durchaus gebrauchstauglich.

Ich kann diese Becken sehr als Übungs- und Anfängerbecken empfehlen. Für alle, die gerade erst beginnen und nicht direkt ein Drumset mit Becken für mehrere tausend Euro kaufen möchten, macht man in meinen Augen hier wenig falsch.Natürlich muss man aber auch ganz klar sagen, dass man bei einem Beckensatz für unter 70€ auch die Erwartungen entsprechend gering halten muss. Und natürlich sind sie auch nicht dafür gemacht, dass man sie pausenlos mit voller Power anschlägt…Die Preisleistung finde ich hier wirklich gut. Ich hatte schon deutlich schlechtere Becken für vergleichsweise höhere Preise.

The basic rule with musical instruments is that you get what you pay for. If you want the best tone it costs you the most money. These cymbals are budget, but useful to have in those situations where a lot of people use the same kit for practice or for routine practice and you are saving your best for shows and so on.The cymbals are much lighter than say a set of Zildjians and this is where a lot of the cost savings are achieved. They are finished well and quite well balanced. We balanced them on a finger to give a first try and they give a pretty reasonable tone. As such when travelling to practice these might get used a bit more often because they are light.The tone is quite good, a bit gong like at times and I wasn’t overly enamoured with the bell of the ride cymbal but overall pretty good and certainly usable.
