COHEED AND CAMBRIA Unveils New Single "Someone Who Can" and Summer Tour Plans

Renowned rock band COHEED AND CAMBRIA has just released their latest single, "Someone Who Can," from their much-anticipated upcoming album, The Father Of Make Believe, slated for release on March 14 through Virgin Music Group. The new song is accompanied by a touching music video directed by Mason Mercer, which offers a nostalgic glimpse into the band’s formative years in their hometown of Nyack, New York.

"Someone Who Can" follows the previous singles from the album, including the energetic "Blind Side Sonny" and the introspective "Searching For Tomorrow." Additionally, the band previously released Claudio Covers, featuring reimagined versions of eight notable tracks, including timeless hits like "Just Like Heaven" by THE CURE and Taylor Swift’s "Welcome To New York."

As noted by lead singer and primary songwriter Claudio Sanchez, "Someone Who Can" may be the most accessible track in COHEED AND CAMBRIA’s 24-year legacy. He reflects on the song’s deeper meaning: “When you’re growing up, you’re perpetually trying to understand the world that’s changing around you. Over time, it’s comforting to reach the conclusion that you’ll never truly have things figured out." Before embarking on this extensive tour, COHEED AND CAMBRIA will join MASTODON for "The Infinite Arc" co-headline arena tour and take part in the Tool In The Sand festival alongside TOOL, PRIMUS, and more in the Dominican Republic this March. In July, the band will also perform at the 2000 Trees festival in the UK with acts like KNEECAP and TAKING BACK SUNDAY.

Later, fans can look forward to the S.S. Neverender 2025 cruise featuring COHEED AND CAMBRIA alongside THURSDAY, L.S. DUNES, and other incredible acts this November.
