In an exciting recent development, DISTURBED had the honor of opening for heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN in Mexico City on November 20, 2024. Drummer Mike Wengren described the experience as a "bucket list" moment for the band during a conversation with Milwaukee’s 102.9 The HOG. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that it was one of the few legendary acts they hadn’t yet shared the stage with. Wengren recounted how the band quickly put their studio work on hold after receiving an offer from management to support IRON MAIDEN, a decision they made without hesitation.
Moreover, DISTURBED is gearing up for their 25th Anniversary Tour, named "The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour," which will kick off on February 25, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho. This highly anticipated tour will feature two sets per night: the first, a full performance of The Sickness, followed by a selection of their greatest hits. The tour boasts an impressive array of supporting acts, including THREE DAYS GRACE with original singer Adam Gontier and SEVENDUST in the first half, followed by DAUGHTRY and NOTHING MORE in the latter portion.
