Awesome Gibraltar Rack Buy it !
This rack is awesome. For years I could never get my toms exactly where I wanted them. I like my drums nice and close to minimize the distance I have to reach to play them. I have a large set and the space on the floor was cluttered with the legs of all my cymbal stands. My foot print was huge! This rack easy to set up and it is so sturdy. I have reclaimed so much floor space. When you buy this make sure you also buy 3 Gibraltar SC-RBA Rack Tube Boom Attachments. This allows you to utilize the Vertical Tubes as cymbal stands and AGAIN reclaim that precious floor space. I highly recommend this rack to all drummers who want that ultimate set up. Check out some of my pictures of my new set up and don’t hesitate, buy it!

I WISH I HADN’T WAITED SO LONG TO PULL THE TRIGGER ON THIS
THIS IS THE SECOND GIBRALTAR RACK I HAVE PURCHASED. THE QUALITY IS GREAT AND IT SAVES SO MUCH ROOM! NO MORE STAND LEGGS ALL OVER THE PLACE, NO MORE KNOCKING CYMBAL BOOM STANDS OVER, NO MOVEMENT AT ALL! I PUT AWAY ONE DOUBLE TOM FLOOR STAND, TWO BOOM CYBALL STANDS, ONE STRAIGHT RIDE STAND AND ONE FLOOR TOM STAND. AS WELL AS ELIMINATING THE AWKWARD HI-HAT STAND THAT NEVER COLD POSITION WELL ENOUGH WITH MY DOUBLE BASS SET UP. NOW I HAVE A LEGLESS HAT STAND AND MOUNTED SOLID TO THE RACK FOR OPTIMUM PLACEMENT AND STABILLITY.

A must have for your kit
If you are serious about your kit then having a system like this is a must. Toms supported freely ads dynamics to the sound of the bass and toms, plus having them right where you need them to be. Its like having a girlfriend who is totally dedicated to you, one that never fails to amaze you on how well she keeps everything tight and right. How did you ever get along without her? Like anything in life if you take care of it, it will take care of you. Go on, get a drum rack, it is one of the best things to improve your playing and over all get the best out of your shells. (besides type of heads)

Almost perfect. Heavy duty enough to hold my individual Gretsch mounts that weigh a ton, plus the drums, but you do have to crank the multi clamps or the sheer weight will drag the toms down. Yep, I had to use a monkey wrench. The good nes is that the clamps can take the tension. The bad news is that the price just went up from ridiculous to incredibly ridiculous for no reason other than (apparently) the company wanted more money. It could have been warranted if Gibraltar had included, say a few more clamps or maybe the ones that fit in the posts. Something. Hey, maybe instructions to suggest where to put memory locks or the like… Anyway, it’s set up now and hold’s everything exacktly where I want / need them to be, so I’m happy.
