No brainer
I spent some time reviewing expenses and realized I was spending around thirty bucks a year for a tuner app on my phone, which I’ve done for the last (at least) 10 years. That’s enough for a pretty nice tuner…or even a guitar. So I picked a name brand I have respect for, made a 1 time spend, and canceled my subscription. Worth it. The only possible worry I have is I don’t always have it in my pocket, and I will be the first to say I should chill out. It really doesn’t worry me. Just get 2 and keep them in cycle if you must. It is always spot on.

Best Clip-on Regardless Of Price
Wow! This tuner is blazing fast, even on the low B of my 5 string bass. It’s so good that I may remove the pedalboard mounted Polytune. The display is bright and easy to read plus the USB-C charging port makes it much easier to find a cable. I’m impressed!

Couple months in and still on the original battery. Works great and I use it all the time. I practice daily and always at least check my tune. Then I’m always tweaking and tuning basses and guitars so it’s getting used for that regularly.

This’ll change your tune
Small, quick, and effective. It makes tuning between songs as easy as it’s ever been. Tuned my bass with this thing and then plugged it up to my pedal tuner to compare and the results were pretty much spot on, so you know this thing does what it’s supposed to. I will caution that it does start to struggle with lower registers, and I can’t see it working on anything lower than an E string on a bass, so if you’re one of those pretentious bass players who need more than four strings, you might have to tune that last one by ear, but let’s be honest, you’re not REALLY using it, right?…that’s a joke, I swear, I own a five string bass myself!

Some other tuners can look pretty intimidating and confusing, but this one is quite easy to use and understand. It’s small and doesn’t get in the way of anything.
