Full disclosure: Although I shop a lot through Prime, I did not buy this SKU from Gemini Sound. However, I wanted to leave feedback here because the reviews Gemini Sound collects are very helpful in making other buying decisions. I actually bought two of them and I am happy that I did. The designer thought of everything. The pre-amp/mixing board is what I use to feed the speakers, but there are many options. Each input can be run simultaneously and each has its own gain control. The digital input is basically the kitchen sink. It can be used as a USB thumb drive, SD Card, Bluetooth or FM radio. A small display shows you the options. The analog channels can be used with 1/4″ balanced or XLR mono singles. Each channel has either 3.5mm stereo or L+RRCA jacks. You can adjust the overall tone as well as the master gain and XLR output. The speaker is moderately heavy and decently sized. It has a 15-inch woofer. The speaker has a pair on the back that can be quickly repositioned. However, if you need to move the speaker further than a few meters, you can use one or two of three solid handles. It sounds good, and the 40hz rating is accurate. These speakers are more impressive than you might expect. You can use them indoors, but the best place for these speakers to shine is in your backyard. These speakers were loud and clear from 50 yards away. The bass is solid up to 50 feet outside. This is a remarkable feat considering their cost and size. They can provide full-range music in an outdoor setting of one acre. This means that your neighbors will be pissed if these speakers are brought into their backyard to rock out. These speakers are great for mood music, but they can also be used to blast loud music at your pool party.

1,000 Watt? Really? So disappointed in the 1,000 Watt rating of this speaker. Unpackaged and plugged in today and everything seemed to work as explained: two channel system which will work for two microphones, a keyboard and a microphone, plus a third channel for blue tooth from your phone, auxiliary input, SD Card and even a radio.
Remote control for switching modes inputs is really helpful, if you are using this as an in-home sound system.
It comes with an adequate microphone if this is your Karaoke system.
The user manual is very modest and the print is so small, it is impossible to read without a magnifying glass. The user model is not available on their website: https://geminisound.com/blogs/help/manuals.
There is no explanation available on how to use the SD card, presumably to play MP3 files. Probably a good subject for a youtube video.

This is my third 8 inch bluetooth unit, the first two were in different series or versions, and the last one was in 10 months. The second one was out of warranty, so I’m hoping for the longevity of this one.

Great Quality but not the correct speakers. The speakers are great quality but I purchased te wrong ones the kind of speaker I need are those with just a jack in the back along with wire connections.

Disappointed. Very solid seems well made hooked it up horrible no. No bass, no mid empty sounding shallow nothing like what the demo sounded like on line and listened through a inexpensive bluetooth speaker that sounds good but not this speaker. Maybe luck of the draw because I find it hard to believe you can sell something this weak that cannot even project sound. Adjusting the bass/treble does about nothing as well.
