Several years ago I bought two of these for my sons who were beginning to play. I was so impressed with the quality and the sound that at 65 I decided it was time to add one to my collection. I love the playability and sound of this very affordable gem! Thanks Washburn for a great looking and sounding guitar!

Great for the price!!
It feels very light, but that’s a plus for me. Sounds very good. Out the box I had to turn the truss rod almost half a turn. It was buzzing slightly, the adjustment fixed that. Now it’s awesome. The built in tuner saves me from having to buy another tuner. I keep one on my acoustics. Sounds and plays like a 300or 400 dollar acoustic. I would gig with it!! The electronics are better than my ibanez acoustic. Perfect finish, sweet deal!

Good For Price and what it is.
The Guitar came packed OK. Could have been much better packed then it was.And it was not a Amazon boxed, so the item inside is poorly packed.But arrived no issues.Guitar plays well, but will not be forgiving for Beginners.I would advise taking it to a shop. Pay 100.00 get the neck adjusted, new strings that are lighter.And you will then love this guitar. But its also priced low and to move.That said quality is really good.Sounds is crisp and very clean. Nice box as well. With a smooth sound.It sounds better then I expected it too.You will need a tuner, if you are new? It will come not tuned.But there are great simple tuners now days. You can tun in 5 minutes. Less the 1 minute a string.Enjoy, and welcome to music.

Great sound
Inexpensive but great sound. The bottom is a little wider than I’d like and I don’t like that there’s no strap peg on the inside (but I guess if there were it wouldn’t be “vintage), but it’s a great deal and a great instrument for any level of player.

Fret Buzz
Had massive fret buzz on the D and A strings. Unbearable to listen to. Sent it back for a replacement. Will see if the next one has the same problem. The Tuner worked well and the guitar had decent sound. Nothing great because of the cheap tone woods but you get what you pay for!!

For the price, you just can’t beat it!
Straight from the box, this guitar is beautiful. I have other accoustic guitars that cost hundreds more, and by far, this Washburn feels and sounds so much better. Plug it in and you’ll be blown away. I have a washburn hollow body electric, it’s about 20 years old, but it still rocks. I own a PRS Custom 8, not even close to the washburn and it cost less. I own 14 guitars, including the 2 washburns, the 2 Washburns are my favorites. The accoustic just sounds so good unplugged. It feels good on the neck, good smooth action. I only had to tune it with the on baord pre amp, which I love, bass, treble, mid and precence. For the price, this accustic guitar is a steal!

This guitar came apparently undamaged (shipping box showed no signs). out of the box, aside from tuning the instrument, it looked excellent and played great. But, when I plugged it into my amplifier, there was no sound. I twiddled the knobs and replaced the battery but it did not come to life. I purchased this guitar for playing on stage with amplification so, unfortunately, I must return it for a refund and another purchase . . .
